Pretty basic building blocks for creating and maintaining a quality friendship, or any other kind of meaningful relationship. Am I perfect? No, no. Far from it. But I try to be a better person each day than I was the day before. And I'm comfortable and confidant in knowing that the qualities I listed above are part of the real me. I don't have to put on an act. I value these things and I know many others do too.

I enjoy the theatre, music, dancing, being with friends, enjoying food, conversing about almost anything, taking a hike, deciphering a painting, and appreciating nature. My passions are teaching children, geography, world cultures and the sociology of groups. I've traveled to Europe and the Middle East, lived in California and the East Coast, but feel no strong urge to roam around the world anymore.
